The Human Services System provides human services to all Fresno County residents to ensure that families will be:

• Safe: Keeping all residents of Fresno County from being neglected and abused.
• Self-sufficient: Helping all residents of Fresno County gain independence.
• Healthy: Maintaining healthy communities.
• Out of trouble: Helping all residents of Fresno County stay out of trouble.
• At home: Helping families stay together.
• In school: Helping residents of Fresno County advance in school.
• Or at work: Helping residents of Fresno County at work.
