Consumer Complaints

If you are not satisfied with the mental health services you are receiving, there are several ways that you may file a complaint:

You can speak with your provider and his or her supervisor. They may be able to help you.

You can call the Fresno County Mental Health Plan at 800-654-3937. If you use TTY, call 559- 488-3055.

You may also call the Patients' Rights Advocate at 559-253-2238.

You can fill out this complaint form and mail it to:

Forms and stamped, addressed envelopes are available at all mental health service sites.

Consumer Grievances

If you submit a complaint to the Fresno County Mental Health Plan about your mental health services, you will receive a response within 10 business days. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may file a grievance. If you are not satisfied with the response to your grievance, it will be heard by a Grievance Committee, which makes the final decision.

You have the right to file a grievance or request a State Fair Hearing for any Mental Health Plan-related reason at any time before, during or after the complaint resolution process has started.
